Welcome to the Local Government Personnel Association (LGPA) web site.

The Local Government Personnel Association owns the content of all web pages on this site. Some information on this site may be viewed by the general public; other information is restricted and only available to registered employees of LGPA member organizations that are current on dues. All members understand and agree that their work contact information (address, telephone number and email address)  may be viewed and used by any other member with authorized access to the LGPA web site. Registered users may voluntarily remove or update their contact information at any time.

Registered users are to safeguard their login credentials (username and password). Credentials are not to be shared with any other individuals including contractors or other employees working for the employing organization. Registered users who share their login credentials or login for others to use the website may be denied access to the LGPA website.

Individuals who access information on this website agree to use this information only for purposes directly related to their role in human resources for the benefit of their employing organization. The website and its content, especially the Survey Results and the Member Directory, is not to be used for any individual's private gain or commercial interests. Information from the website may not be sold, leased, bartered, shared, distributed or disseminated to any non-registered user (except for other employees of the employing organization) without the express written permission of the LGPA. However, member organizations may provide information from this website, including the Survey Results and the Member Directory, to contractors or consultants (individuals or entities) who are performing work under contract to the member organization provided the information is a) used only for the work specified in the contract and b) may not be used for any other contracts or purpose.

Registered users may not access the email feature (if available) to send messages not related to the purposes of the LGPA. Use of the email feature to send content deemed derogatory, obscene, political, religious, or harassing in nature or otherwise not in keeping with the purposes of the LGPA is prohibited. The website Administrator and the LGPA are the sole arbiters of whether email messages are in accordance with this use policy. Users who violate this policy may be denied access to the website. The originating sender is wholly responsible for all content of emails sent.

The LGPA is not liable for errors that may occur as a result of using any data provided as a service to its members. The LGPA is not liable for lack of access to the website and its content due to any reason.
